What’s the Kingdom of God Like?

Post by Pastor Dave    Mark 4:26-34

Mark says its like a mustard seed.

Ezekiel says its like a cedar tree – Ezekiel 17: 22-24.

A tiny seed or a majestic tree?

Which is it?

Could it be both?

Is it possible that God’s kingdom starts small and grows big?

Is it possible that God’s kingdom includes tiny gestures, little acts of kindness – and all those little seeds can grow into something huge and beyond comprehension?

God’s kingdom started with 12 followers of a carpenter’s son – and has now grown into the largest religion in the world!

God’s kingdom started in a cattle stall in Bethlehem and now has spread into the entire world!

God’s kingdom – its growing and growing and growing and don’t let anybody tell you otherwise.

How has it grown?

Through Abraham

And Sarah

And Moses

And David

And Mary

And Jesus

And Peter

And Paul

And the Holy Spirit

And oh yes…

Through Alice

And Frank

And Bill

And Fernando

And Rico

And Susie

And Virma

And Juliana

And the Holy Spirit

From a mustard seed to a cedar tree!!

And who knows what after that!!!!
